- Jaime & Luce
The couple travelled from their home in Hong Kong to bring together all their favourite people to their favourite place, our Balearic Islands. Luce and Jaime specifically chose the magical island of Formentera for its complete tranquility to hold their 3-day wedding celebration.
Having grown up on the island Marianne, the founder of Undercover Events, has a personal connection with the place and was able to capture the essence of the island and inject it into the magic of the event.
The location, a 3-villa compound on the SW coast of the island provided a private world, which Luce and Jaime invited their close friends and family into. In addition to the villas and vast grounds, the Undercover Events crew constructed one of our Modern Bedouin tents which was greatly appreciated when the wind picked up and the evening turned a little chillier than expected.
Guests were welcomed to the island the day before the wedding with a laid back reception in a local beach bar where guests could slow down their pace and absorb the natural beauty of the island.
In keeping with the organic, joy filled vibe, the couple met on the rooftop of their villa before the wedding ceremony to pop a bottle and toast to their love in front of the waiting congregation. They made their entrance through a hand made gateway and walked down the aisle together amongst the guests´ cheers and well wishes.
And after, refreshing cocktails were served to beat the heat of the day and were complemented with traditional canapés of local cuisine. Guests took advantage of a hand made bespoke wooden frame complete with Polaroid camera to leave personalised words and pictures in the guest book.
As the sun went down, the celebrations continued to the sounds of a Velvet Music DJ until the early hours. Dancing was only interrupted for the lighting of sparklers, a brilliant way to accentuate the cake cutting and involve everyone in making a memorable moment extra special with an epic display of light and sparkles.
