With love, from Paris May · 2016
When we first met Alexia and Ben they asked us to help them create a wedding which would be elegant, first-class but most of all one unforgettably magnificent party! A young Parisian couple whose incredible partnership has made them very successful, they invited 300 guests to join them for a 3 day wedding celebration on Mallorca where there was no detail spared.
The bride´s dress was flown in from Paris on a private jet as was their family priest who conducted the ceremony for the couple in Sant Barthomeu´s church, Valldemossa.
They chose 2 stunning locations on the West coast of the island, the first a boutique agroturism tucked away high up in the Tramuntana mountains with sunset views across the Mediterranean horizon.
Here the pre-party started early around the pool with an intimate group of close friends and later on guests were greeted by a 5 piece Cuban band as they arrived by private minibus. It was a happy occasion of people coming together, lounging on rustic chill out furniture enjoying the BBQ feast and Velvet Music created a full DJ set up poolside so the wedding party could keep the vibes going all weekend. For this reason exclusivity of the venue was imperative!
The wedding day was celebrated at a 13th century finca, after the church ceremony the newlyweds jumped on the coach shuttle with their guests from the church in Valldemossa to make the short journey.
Alexia and Ben led guests from cocktail to dinner by opening doors to the grand terrace where the band played an acoustic set in front of our bespoke LOVE sign. Guests danced off a little of their happiness before sitting down to dinner at tables each named after a Mediterranean island. Instead of traditional champagne, Tequila was placed on each table for toasts, and the groom´s Drone flew above capturing some very special moments.
After the formalities guests moved into the gargantuan banqueting hall which was transformed into a jungle themed concert venue complete with a Cuban chill out lounge, 5 metre mirrored bar, fotomaton, candy bar and guests danced on stage with their 10 piece band flown in from UK.
With laser mapping and an extensive sound and lighting spec this was one of our biggest and most challenging productions thus far. In collaboration with our sister company Velvet Music we were able to create magic, needless to say the bride and groom and all of their guests had the celebration of a lifetime which they thanked us for... a few days later!
